I don't know about you…but I have heard a lot about organic foods, and why they are better…but then I look at the prices in the grocery stores and wonder, "Is it really worth it?!" "Can I start now, and will it make a difference?"
Here are some foods that have the highest pesticides…always buy "organic:"
* celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, blueberries, nectarines, bell peppers, spinach, kale, cherries, potatoes, grapes.
Here are some foods that are lower in pesticides~buy either organic, or not:
* onions, avacado, sweet corn, pineapple, mango sweet peas, asparagus, kiwi, cabbage, eggplant, cantalope, watermelon, grapefruit, sweet potato, honeydew melon.
It is better to eat fruits and vegetables grown and harvested in pesticides than to not eat them at all, but just so you know…you can look online for the "Dirty Dozen" or the "Clean Fifteen," which gives more information on the above details.
